Brothers Sebastian Kurian (Siby) and Xavier Kurian (Sabu) – pioneered rubber compounding as a stand-alone activity in India when they set up Trident Rubber in the year 1993 . Till then, there had been exclusive job mixers (tolling companies) for Tyre Companies, and rubber part manufacturers acting as compounders using their excess mixing capacities. There were no companies dedicated exclusively to “designing and manufacturing” of rubber compounds to suit customer specifications.
Xavier Kurian, the Commercial Director brings 35 years of experience in the rubber field to Trident. Siby Kurian the Technical Director has three decades of hands-on experience with rubber compounding.
The directors are also actively involved in making the company "Socially Responsible"
